How to Create a 30-Day Mock Test Preparation Plan

15 Sep 2026 · TestMint Team

Thirty days is enough to change your exam readiness — if you use the time in the right order. This plan moves from topics to sections to full papers.

Week 1: topic practice

Spend the first week drilling individual topics with practice tests. The goal is to close knowledge gaps while the clock is still forgiving.

Week 2: section tests

Move to section-wise tests — one subject or section at a time, under a timer. This builds the section-level speed you will need in the full paper.

Week 3: full-length tests

Now attempt complete mocks, two or three this week. Review each one fully using result analysis and fix the weak areas they expose.

Week 4: final simulations

In the final week, simulate the real exam as closely as possible: same time of day, same duration, no pauses. Reduce new learning and focus on rhythm and confidence.

Adjust as you go

If week 1 reveals large gaps, do not rush ahead — spend an extra day or two on topics. A flexible plan beats a rigid one. Need tests? Start with free mock tests for NEET and JEE Main.
