Terms of Service

Last updated 15 Sep 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TestMint, the marketplace where coaching institutes publish mock tests and students discover, purchase, and attempt them. By creating an account or using TestMint, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and verify your email address. If you are below the age required to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, you should register and make any purchase with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Institute accounts are reviewed before they can publish tests; TestMint may approve, reject, or suspend an institute account at its discretion, including for policy violations.

2. Purchases and payment

Paid tests and institute subscriptions are charged the listed price plus a convenience fee, shown in full before you confirm payment. Payment is processed by our payment partner, Dodo Payments — TestMint never sees or stores your card, UPI, or bank details. Access to a paid test or subscription is granted once payment is verified by our payment partner. Once a payment is completed, it is final; see our Refund Policy for the limited exceptions where TestMint may issue a refund at its discretion.

3. Institute content and responsibilities

Institutes are solely responsible for the accuracy, originality, and legality of the questions, answers, explanations, and tests they publish, and represent that they own or have the right to publish that content. By publishing content, an institute grants TestMint a non-exclusive license to host, display, and make it available for purchase and attempt by students on the platform. TestMint may remove or unpublish content that violates applicable law, infringes someone else's rights, or violates these Terms, and may reject or unpublish an exam category request that duplicates an existing one or is otherwise inappropriate.

4. Institute revenue share and payouts

Institutes receive a share of each paid-test sale (the current split is shown on our pricing page and may be adjusted by TestMint from time to time). Earnings accrue as a payable balance visible in the institute dashboard. Payouts are processed manually by TestMint on a periodic basis; institutes cannot initiate their own payouts. If an order is refunded, the corresponding institute share and platform fee for that order are reversed from the payable balance.

5. Institute subscriptions

Institutes may subscribe to a paid plan for additional platform features, billed monthly or annually through Dodo Payments. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand from the institute dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required under our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to circumvent test timing, randomization, or other exam-integrity controls
  • Share your paid test or subscription access with anyone else, or access an account that is not yours
  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or bulk-download questions, tests, or other platform content
  • Reverse engineer, probe, or attempt to bypass the platform's security or rate limits
  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to publish
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could disable, overburden, or impair it for other users

Violating this section may result in suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of access to purchased content, and/or removal of published tests, without refund.

7. Results, rankings, and accuracy

Test scores, ranks, and percentiles on TestMint reflect performance against other TestMint users on that specific test and are provided for practice purposes only. TestMint is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official representative of any exam conducting body (e.g. JEE, NEET, UPSC, SSC, or any other examination authority named in our exam categories). We do not guarantee any particular exam outcome from using the platform.

8. Intellectual property

The TestMint name, logo, website, and underlying software are owned by TestMint and may not be copied or used without permission. Questions, tests, and related content remain the property of the institute that created them, subject to the license granted in section 3.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TestMint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that test content published by institutes is accurate or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TestMint is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the transaction giving rise to the claim.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using TestMint and request account closure at any time via the contact form. TestMint may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraud or abuse, or poses a risk to other users or the platform. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) continue to apply after your account is closed.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use TestMint after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions about these Terms can be sent through our contact form. See also our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
