SSC CGL Quantitative Aptitude Mock Tests

SSC CGL Quant is a speed contest. Most questions are solvable, but only for the candidate who recognises the method in seconds.

Speed is the real syllabus

With four sections squeezed into a short paper, you cannot afford long calculations. SSC-style questions reward familiarity: knowing common percentages as fractions, using ratios instead of equations and recalling standard geometry results without derivation.

High-yield topics

  • Arithmetic: percentages, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, ratio, time and work, time-speed-distance
  • Algebra and number system, including simplification
  • Geometry and mensuration, which have many direct-formula questions
  • Data interpretation and trigonometry basics

How to practise

Drill topics with our topic-wise sets such as percentage questions and time and work questions, then step up to full sectional tests. In each test, circle every question that took more than 90 seconds; those are candidates to skip in the real paper. The wider approach, including how Quant fits with other sections, is in the SSC CGL strategy guide.

Other sections: Reasoning, English and General Awareness.
