A sample question from this test

How to approach this test
Partnership: Profit is shared in the ratio of investment × time. When time differs, multiply each investment by its months before comparing.
Mixtures and Alligation: Alligation gives the ratio directly: (dearer − mean) : (mean − cheaper). Check that the mean price lies between the two prices.
Pipes and Cisterns: Treat filling pipes as positive rates and emptying pipes or leaks as negative rates, then divide the capacity by the net rate.
Boats and Streams: Downstream speed is boat plus stream and upstream is boat minus stream; the boat speed is half the sum of the two and the stream speed half their difference.
This set leans easy, so use it to confirm that you can solve the basic pattern accurately before you move to harder sets. At 40 questions in 60 minutes, you have about 90 seconds per question on average. After you submit, review every wrong or guessed answer using the explanations.
