How to Choose a Test Series That Is Worth Your Money
06 Oct 2026 · TestMint Team
A test series is a good investment only if you will use it fully. Before paying, ask these five questions.
1. Does it match your exam?
Check the number of questions, sections and marking scheme against the real exam. A mismatch trains the wrong habits.
2. Are the explanations useful?
Look at a sample test. Good explanations show the method, not just the answer. They are the main thing you pay for.
3. Does difficulty progress sensibly?
A good series moves from foundation to exam-level to slightly harder. Ask whether the description explains this progression.
4. What analysis do you get?
Section-wise scores, accuracy and time per question help you improve. A series with only a total score gives you less.
5. Will you finish it?
A 50-test series is useless if you can complete only 20. Be honest about your schedule and pick a series that fits it.
